Volunteer

Youth Advisory BoardHendricks County Parks & Recreation, along with the Foundation, were created from the vision and perseverance of volunteers. It will take the same volunteer spirit for our Parks and Foundation to continue to have a meaningful impact in our community.  The enthusiasm, time, and talents of volunteers are important contributions to our parks. Whether you have a passion for history, the outdoors, or working with children, we have opportunities for you or your group to help make Hendricks County Parks an outstanding places to visit. Early March when the sap is flowing in the maples at McCloud Nature Park. In conjunction with Maple ‘Sirup’ Festival at McCloud Nature Park, the Foundation hosts a Pancake Breakfast to raise funds for our Parks.
